We’ve partnered with Stripe to make payments seamless, secure, and stress-free. Your credit card information is handled exclusively by Stripe—not Mountain Mama—a PCI-certified payment processor. Stripe supports saving payment methods through Apple Pay, credit cards, Amazon Pay, and Google Pay.

Managing Payment Methods

Users can:

  • Add, update, or remove payment methods anytime.
  • View their full payment history.

Each user gets a Stripe account automatically linked to their phone number, ensuring no one else can use their card to place an order.

How Payments Work

Here’s the current payment process:

  1. New Users

    • Place your order without entering payment info upfront.
    • At 3 PM, you’ll receive a link to add a payment method.
  2. Returning Users Without a Saved Payment Method

    • You can place an order, but it won’t be fulfilled unless a payment method is added by 11 AM (our order cutoff time).
  3. Order Timeline

    • 8 AM - 11 AM: Place, edit, or modify orders.
    • 11 AM - 3 PM: Deliveries are completed.
    • 3 PM: If a payment method is on file, we’ll automatically charge your card. To reduce message volume, no confirmation is sent. Want a receipt or payment details? Just ask Mama for your payment history!

Can I leave a tip?

Yes, non-monetary tips can be left at any time! (Currently we aren’t taking any monetary tips, but we appreciate the thought!)
